For me spring is a time when I start new projects. One of them is the White stork. The stork is a bird which for me is synonymous with the Spring feeling. Many days I spent from early in the morning to late in the evening near several stork nest. Beautiful to observe the variety of behaviour.

During a windy day with lots of nice skies I shot the picture on this page.

Recently, the ground breaking nature documentary Planet Earth has a successor: Life! Over 4 years the makers have travelled all continents for this unique production. With advanced filming techniques they captured dramatic new behaviour of animals. The result is realy breathtaking. And also a great honor for me: for the cover of the dvd box they used one of my images of the Strawberry poison dart frog.

The dvd box contains 5 dvd’s with 10 episodes of each 60 minutes in hd.
