In the heart of the “Gelderse Poort” lies the Millingerwaard. It is 350acres where you can enjoy strolling through the varied nature. In the swamp forests and houses ooybossen including beavers and you can find the most active river dune from the Netherlands. On the dunes more than 300 plant species can be found. In the workshop period, there are many plants in addition to many insects to photograph. A true paradise for the macrophotographer.

Meinerswijk floodplains is a Nature park located in the center of Arnhem. Lots of wild plants, rich grasslands and grazers as wild Konik horses are characteristic of this beautiful area. Especially in the summer many plants and insects are to discover.

One of the nicest times of the year to photograph the autumn. Exuberant colored woods, fog, and mushrooms all over the ground reasdy to be photographed. During this workshop we focus on capturing atmospheric autumn images. And we crawl low to the ground and in search of autumn leaves and mushrooms.

At about 50 km from Arnhem you find one of the finest wildlife parks inGermany. The wildlife park is approximately 56 hectares and European species live here in large, fenced natural areas.Consider for example lynx, red deer, wild boar, otters and brown bears. A wonderful opportunity photograph these animals in a natural environment to photograph.
